How to Unlock License

Upgrade License Level on Ikarus OS
There are three different ways to make this upgrade.
- Unlock Live through Ikarus Licensing Server
- Unlock through Ikarus Licensing Server
- via Key
- via File
Basic Steps
- After the INMS has initiated go to menu bar and click to Tools→ Discovery Manager.
- Set the Network subnet 192.168.1.0 in order to find the board.
- After it will discover it click submit to put the node in the topology map.
- Right click on the node and click on GUI-Node Connectivity Settings.
- In the pop-up window insert the following values:
- IP settings: 192.168.1.3 (the default IP).
- Alias: insert a text string of your preference.
- Password: admin.
- Destination Port: 3517.
- Click the “submit changes” button.
The color of the node changes to green and you have access in the Advanced Node Configuration.
Unlock Live through Ikarus Licensing Server
- Right click -> Unlock -> Live.
- Enter username and password.
- Press "View Account Info".
- Choose the level you want to upgrade.
- Press "Unlock".
- After a few seconds go back to "Topology Map"
- Click on your board and check the "Status of your node".
- In the "Key field" you should see the Level you have selected.
Unlock manually through Ikarus Licensing Server
Note: DO NOT REBOOT DEVICE BETWEEN GET & SET ACTIONS
Open a browser and visit Ikarus Licensing Server and login your account.
Key
- Right click -> Unlock -> Get Key.
- Choose the level you want to upgrade and press Retrieve Key.
- Go to your account and click Purchase Key copy the Key.
- In the Key text field paste the Key and click "Generate License Key".
- Copy the Key it will produce and go back to the node.
- Right click on Node -> Unlock -> SetKey.
- Paste the Key and click "Apply Key".
- After a few seconds go back to "Topology Map"
- Click on your board and check the "Status of your node".
- In the "Key field" you should see the Level you have selected.
File
- Go to the Menu bar of INMS and click Tools→ License Manager.
- Check the checkbox under "Retrieve Info" column.
- In pane "License Manager" click "Get Info" button.
- From the drop-down list under "Level" select your desired level.
- Click the button "Export License Request".
- Save a "lock.lic" file.
- Go to your account and click Purchase Key.
- In the "Key file" field upload the "lock.lic" you have saved.
- Click "Generate License Key".
- Save the file it will be created as "unlock.lic".
- Go back to License Manager and upload the "unlock.lic" you saved.
- Click "Set Keys" and then "Upload".
- After a few seconds go back to "Topology Map"
- Click on your board and check the "Status of your node".
- In the "Key field" you should see the Level you have selected.
